The medical team of Yangchun Stomatological Hospital went to Pingnan Village and Pingdong Village in Heshuizhen Town to carry out oral free clinic activities.

On the daytime of January 10th, a free medical consultation activity was held at Jiajiale Farm in Heshuizhen Town, serving the villagers from Pingnan Village and Pingdong Village in Heshuizhen Town. The public welfare team composed of medical staff from Yangchun Stomatological Hospital enthusiastically answered various oral cavity questions for the villagers present, and used an advanced mobile CT vehicle to provide CT scans for the villagers who came for consultation.

Utilizing cutting-edge photography technology and artificial intelligence analysis technology, the dental prevention CT vehicle can clearly display the fine structures inside the patients' oral cavities in various forms, covering the teeth, alveolar bones, and their surrounding soft tissues, and automatically generate a diagnostic report. This technological innovation enables doctors to detect those minor lesions that are difficult to find due to the angle limitations of traditional oral X-ray films, thus greatly improving the accuracy of diagnosis and work efficiency. Based on this, doctors can put forward more professional treatment suggestions and plans.

At the activity site, the medical staff carried out detailed popular science explanations and patiently answered the oral health issues that the villagers generally cared about, such as loose and painful teeth, gingival bleeding, and dental caries restoration, and provided personalized treatment suggestions. They also called on the villagers to attach importance to and develop good oral hygiene habits.

In the two villages, there are a total of 177 villagers who are either subsistence allowance recipients or five-guarantee households. During this free medical consultation activity, 16 medical staff, 8 volunteers, and Guangdong social workers provided a total of 30 person-times of free dental consultation services to residents from Pingnan Village and Pingdong Village in Heshuizhen Town.
