Diabelity Campaign (DSSA-Egypt)

DSSA-EGYPT has initiated a campaign under the name of 

"Diabelity Campaign" 

which focuses mainly on diagnosis of the diabetic patients & its correlation with pathologic tooth mobility since Egypt is one of the top 10 countries in Diabetes Prevelance all over the world..

the campaign started in March - 2024 for the World oral health day and will continue for the whole Year.. 

The first convoy was organized by DSSA-NUB in Beni suef governate & targeted 503 patients from upper Egypt..

for two days 8th & 9th of March - 2024 and taking consents from the patients to participate in our study.. 

Diabetic patients should take more care of their oral health & visit dentists regularly

As well as the Health Care Givers should be aware of the systemic diseases that affect the oral cavity because "A Happy mouth is a Happy body"

DSSA-Egypt has organized 20 activities in 31 days all over March through campaigns, convoys, Online webinars, social media Reels and school visits to enjoy the World Oral Health Day under the supervision of IADS..
