Join the Newgiza University (NGU) School of Dentistry as we celebrate World Oral Health Day 2026!
We are transforming our campus into a hub of oral health advocacy, focusing on the essential link between a healthy mouth and a fulfilling life.
Our event is designed to engage patients, students, and the local working community through a multi-dimensional approach:
- Interactive Awareness Booth: Specialized stations where dental students and interns provide tailored advice for every life stage, from pediatric care to geriatric oral health.
- Personalized Hand-outs & Giveaways: Tailor-made handouts for every targeted age group as well as the giving away of toothbrushes and toothpastes and even brushing calendars!
- Awareness Sessions: Dynamic talks led by our clinical faculty and interns and students, debunking common myths and emphasizing preventive care as the foundation of "A Happy Life" and targeting major issues such as Dental Hypersensitivity!
- Gamified Learning: We believe education should be fun! Our booths feature unique "Dental-Themed Games" designed to test oral hygiene knowledge and reward participants with oral care kits.
- Free Patient Screenings: On-site preliminary check-ups for visitors, bridging the gap between awareness and professional clinical care.
- Free Counseling: All visitors have the chance to receive dental counseling from our clinical staff and WOHD organizing participants.
Our goal is to empower every visitor with the knowledge and tools to maintain a healthy smile for a lifetime. Let’s celebrate the power of a happy mouth together!
