Under the patronage of the Chairman of the University Board of Trustees, Dr. Tareq Ali Al-Nehmi, and the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Khalil Al-Wajeeh, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Obiyah, the School Oral Health Program “Toothie” team at Al-Razi University continues— in coordination with the Community Service Unit represented by its Director Ms. Amani Ghoneima—to successfully implement its activities for the third consecutive week.
The program is organized by the College of Dentistry as part of the celebrations of World Oral Health Day, held by the International Dental Federation (FDI). During this week, the program team completed the oral examination and diagnostic phase for primary school students at Fursan Al-Yemen Model Schools.
Throughout the third week, the program delivered educational lectures, awareness sessions, and interactive oral health activities in an atmosphere characterized by active participation and discussion. These activities aimed to emphasize the importance of tooth brushing in protecting oral and dental health, to teach students proper oral hygiene practices for maintaining healthy teeth, and to highlight the close relationship between oral health and overall body health.
The program also included the distribution of toothbrushes, toothpaste, educational booklets, and daily recording cards to all students targeted by this scientific initiative.
The program was attended by the Director of the Media Department, Mr. Moath Jaashan.
