Activity Description – Oral Health Enlightenment Campaign and Preventive Measures (School Outreach)

The Oral Health Enlightenment Campaign and Preventive Measures Program is designed to educate school children on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and developing healthy dental habits from an early age. The campaign focuses on teaching students simple and effective ways to care for their teeth and prevent common oral health problems.

During the program, dental professionals and volunteers from Dentists on the Wheel – Oral Health Care Foundation will conduct interactive educational sessions where students will learn about proper brushing techniques, the importance of brushing twice daily, and how regular dental visits help keep their teeth and gums healthy. The sessions will also highlight the role of fluoride toothpaste, healthy eating habits, and limiting sugary foods in maintaining strong teeth.

The campaign will include demonstrations, engaging discussions, and visual learning materials to make the information easy for children to understand and practice in their daily lives. Students will also be encouraged to take responsibility for their oral hygiene and share the knowledge they gain with their families.

The main objective of the program is to promote early oral health awareness, prevent tooth decay and gum disease among children, and encourage lifelong healthy dental habits that contribute to overall well-being.

This outreach activity is taking place at S.M.C College Road.
