NOHP Puducherry- A special dental orientation session was conducted for the Nursing students At NHM Conference hall Puducherry.

On March 10, 2026, as part of the *World Oral Health Day celebrations* , a special training program was organized for *Nursing Officers* at the NHM Conference Hall in Puducherry. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the program for the prevention of leptospirosis, highlighting the intersection of oral health awareness with broader public health efforts.
The event focused on the 2026 theme, " *Happy mouth is a happy life"* which emphasizes that maintaining good oral health throughout life—from infancy to old age—is essential for overall well-being, confidence, nutrition, and quality of life. 
The training likely covered oral hygiene practices, prevention of dental issues, and their links to general health, benefiting nearly *40* nursing officers who can further promote these messages in their communities.
