NOHP Puducherry -Oral screening and treatment camp was conducted at AAM- USHC THENGAITHITU

An oral screening and treatment camp was conducted at *AAM - USHC Thengaithittu* on 29-01-2026 with the objective of promoting oral health and providing essential dental services to the community. The program focused on early detection of oral diseases through systematic oral screening of the general public. Necessary basic treatments were provided, and individuals requiring further care were referred for specialized dental services.
In addition to clinical services, an oral health awareness talk was delivered to the general public. The session emphasized the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene, regular dental check-ups, proper brushing techniques, and healthy dietary habits for the prevention of dental problems. Special attention was given to educating the community on the harmful effects of tobacco use and its association with oral diseases.
The camp served as an effective platform to improve community awareness and encourage positive oral health practices, contributing to better overall health and well-being.Nearly 37 benefitted.
