NOHP Puducherry -An oral screening and treatment camp conducted at Nathamedu centre

An oral screening and treatment camp was conducted at Eripakkam - Nathamedu ,centre on 06-02-2026. 
During the camp, oral health screening was carried out for patients.
The patients were examined for dental caries, gum diseases, oral infections, and early signs of oral cancer. Necessary treatment such as oral prophylaxis, medication advice, and referral for advanced care were provided based on individual needs. 
Oral health awareness was also given to the patients emphasizing the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene .Instructions on correct brushing technique, healthy dietary habits, and harmful effects of tobacco and alcohol use were explained. 
IEC materials were displayed to reinforce key messages. Nearly 35 beneficiaries attended and benefited from the screening, treatment services, and health education provided during the camp.
