NOHP Puducherry - Oral screening and treatment camp at AAM Sub Health Centre - Koonichampet

An oral screening and treatment camp was conducted at *AAM Sub Health Centre, Koonichampet* on 11-02-2026. During the camp, dental check-ups were carried out to identify common oral health problems such as dental caries, gum diseases, and oral lesions. A dental awareness session was also conducted for the general public, highlighting the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and its connection to overall health. Proper brushing technique was demonstrated using a dental model to ensure participants understood correct methods of cleaning teeth. Participants were also educated about healthy food habits and the harmful effects of tobacco use. Nearly 45 beneficiaries attended and benefited from the camp.
