NOHP Puducherry - Oral screening and treatment camp at AAM Koravallimedu

An oral screening camp was conducted for geriatric patients attending the Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) clinic at the Sub-Centre, Koravallimedu. The camp aimed to assess the oral health status of elderly patients and to identify common oral health problems at an early stage.
All geriatric patients visiting the NCD clinic were screened for dental caries, periodontal diseases, tooth loss, oral mucosal lesions, and signs of oral cancer. Special attention was given to patients with diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic illnesses, as these conditions have a significant impact on oral health.
