NOHP Puducherry -Oral health awareness talk given to AN clinic mothers at PHC Bahour

On 4/2/2026, an oral health awareness talk was conducted at AAM Bahour, PHC Bahour for antenatal clinic mothers. Nearly 40 ANC mothers and members of the general public benefited from the session. The programme focused on the importance of oral health during pregnancy and its role in maintaining overall health. Special emphasis was given to early childhood oral care, including correct brushing habits from an early age. Healthy food habits that promote good oral health were discussed, along with the harmful effects of oral habits such as improper feeding practices and poor oral hygiene. The session helped create awareness and encouraged mothers to adopt and practice good oral health habits for themselves and their children.
