NOHP Puducherry - Oral health awareness conducted at sri Saraswathi vidhyalaya high school, Nettapakkam

"The students of Class II to Class VIII were given awareness on Oral hygiene measures, Dos and Don'ts in oral care, Common dental problems and management, Bad oral habits and management. Brushing techniques demonstrated using dental models and posters. Oral health pamphlets were distributed. 

Harmful effects of Tobacco and its vulnerability among adolescents were highlighted. Second hand smoke and Third hand smoke and its impact on general health and society were detailed. The nicotine industry and its tactics were unmasked. The Tobacco free lifestyle and environment were stressed for Happy and healthy  living.

Role of TCC services and NRT gums availability were emphasised. Pamphlets were distributed.
