NOHP Puducherry - Oral health awareness conducted at Government primary school, Nettapakkam

"27/2/26  Dental unit/TCC - PHC Nettapakkam @ GPS Pandasozhanallurpet . *The students were given awareness on 1) Oral hygiene measures , Dos and Don'ts in oral care.  Brushing techniques demonstrated using dental models and posters. 2) Interference of the Tobacco industry and their tactics used in Tobacco products like appealing flavours - candy, fruit and dessert flavours  to attract the youth to addiction were highlighted.  Second hand smoke  & Third hand smoke and its vulnerability among children and adolescents were explained. 3)  Pamphlets were distributed. 4) *Drawing/ Colouring Competition* was conducted with the theme "" A happy mouth is a happy life"". This initiative helps in good oral hygiene practices among the school children.
