NOHP Puducherry - Oral health awareness for ANC mothers and Wellbaby clinic at AAM SHC Kodathur

On 12/01/2026, an Oral Screening and Treatment Camp was successfully conducted at AAM – SC, Kodathur. The program aimed at improving oral health awareness among the general public including ANC mothers and wellbaby clinic.  An Anti-Tobacco Awareness Program was organized to educate people on the harmful effects of tobacco use and to promote a tobacco-free lifestyle. Oral hygiene instructions were provided, emphasizing the importance of regular brushing and proper dental care practices. Brushing techniques were effectively demonstrated using dental models to ensure better understanding. The camp received a positive response, and nearly 49 beneficiaries were screened and guided for maintaining good oral health.
