NOHP Puducherry - Oral awareness session conducted for the Wellbaby clinic at AAM - Karayambathur

"Oral screening  and oral health awareness were provided to mothers attending the *Well-Baby Clinic* at the AAM - Karayambathur, on 30/1/2026. The session focused on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene from early childhood to prevent dental caries and other oral diseases.

   Mothers were educated on proper cleaning of infants’ gums, correct brushing techniques for young children, appropriate use of fluoridated toothpaste, and healthy feeding practices. The harmful effects of improper feeding habits and delayed oral care were also explained. The program aimed to create awareness among parents about early prevention and timely dental care. Nearly 40 mothers and children benefited from this awareness session."
