NOHP Puducherry - Drawing and colouring competition in a Rural Government School

On 03-02-2026, various competitions and programmes were conducted for the students of *Government Primary School, Tiruvandarkovil* , based on the theme *“Happy Mouth is a Happy Life.”* As part of the programme, students actively participated in joining the dots and coloring competitions, which encouraged them to express their understanding of oral health in a creative and engaging manner.
Along with these, an oral health awareness session was conducted for the primary school students. The session focused on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene, correct brushing techniques, healthy food habits, and the role of oral health in overall well-being. 
The program created awareness in a fun and interactive way and motivated students to adopt good oral hygiene practices in their daily life. Nearly *148* students benefited from this initiative, making the programme a successful step toward promoting oral health awareness among young children.
