NOHP Puducherry - Dental orientation session for Venkateshwara nusing students at AAM Murungapakkam

Dental orientation sessions were conducted for the nursing students of Venkateshwara College at AAM, Murungapakkam on 09-01-2026. The program aimed to enhance their knowledge of basic oral health care and prevention methods. Oral screening and necessary treatments were provided to the general public. Awareness on the harmful effects of tobacco was explained, and proper brushing techniques were demonstrated using an informative brushing model for the general public and NCD patients. The session helped promote oral hygiene and encouraged a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle. Nearly 60 general public and 25 nursing students benefitted.
