NOHP Puducherry - Dental awareness and Screening camp at Government Primary School - Manavely ( Ariyankuppam)

Oral health awareness and oral screening  program was conducted at Government Primary School, *Manavely* , Ariyankuppam  on 05/02/2026 for students of 1st to 5th standard.
    The importance of oral health and its relation to general health was explained in a simple and child-friendly manner. Proper brushing techniques were demonstrated using dental models, and posters were used to reinforce correct oral hygiene practices.
   The theme “ *Happy Mouth is a Happy Life”* was clearly explained to both students and teachers, highlighting the need for daily brushing and healthy food habits. An oral cleaning session was also carried out for the students. Overall, the programme was well received, and nearly *188* students and staff benefited from this awareness and preventive initiative.
