Integrating Oral Care into the Primary Healthcare System

This activity involves visiting a primary health care centre to promote oral health awareness among the maternal and child population. The focus is on integrating oral health education into existing maternal and child health services.

As part of the initiative, oral health education will be introduced in antenatal clinics to educate expectant mothers on the importance of oral hygiene and its impact on both maternal and child health.

The activity also advocates for the establishment of primary oral health care centers across all local government areas in Nigeria to improve access to basic oral health services.
