GDCH, Mumbai: Little Steps to Healthy Smiles

The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai, successfully organized an Oral Health Screening and Education Camp on 19 January 2026 for the children of ICDS Anganwadi Centres in Bhandup West, Mumbai. The program aimed to promote early oral health awareness and preventive dental care among young children.  

• Target Population:

Preschool-aged children and their caregivers from Anganwadi centers 179, 184, 186, and 190.

• Number of Beneficiaries:

98 young learners were screened and guided toward better oral health habits.

3. Caregiver Counseling & Referral
