Dental check-ups
On 13 January 2026, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai, organized a high-priority Oral Health Education and Screening Camp for the children of Ekta Nagar, Mankhurd. This initiative was part of the global World Oral Health Day 2026 campaign, centered on the theme: “A Happy Mouth is… A Happy Life.”
Target Population
Children and adolescents residing in the Ekta Nagar slum community.
Number of Beneficiaries
116 children were screened and educated on preventive oral healthcare.
