Dental check-ups
On 16 January 2026, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai, organized a specialized Oral Health Awareness and Screening Camp at the Shiv Hanuman Mandir, Vishnu Nagar, Chembur. This initiative was conducted under the global World Oral Health Day 2026 banner, reinforcing the theme: “A Happy Mouth is… A Happy Life.”
Target Population
Anganwadi students (preschoolers) and their families within the Vishnu Nagar area.
Number of Beneficiaries
86 children successfully participated in the screening and hygiene orientation program.
