GDCH, Mumbai: Healthy Smiles, Healthier Communities- A Comprehensive Community Oral Health Mission

As part of the outreach initiatives conducted in connection with World Oral Health Day 2026, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai, organized an Oral Health Screening and Education Camp at Bharat Nagar, Vashi Naka, Mumbai, on 13 March 2026.

Target Population: Urban slum residents – children, general population, and tobacco users

The camp aimed to improve oral health awareness and provide basic oral health screening services to residents of underserved urban slum communities. A large number of community members, including children and adults, actively participated in the program.
