Dental check-ups
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai, organized a targeted Oral Health Awareness and Education Initiative on 07 January 2026 at Samadhan Road, Wadala East. This program was a key local contribution to the global World Oral Health Day 2026 campaign, cantered on the theme: “A Happy Mouth is… A Happy Life.”
Target Population
Anganwadi students (preschool age) and their primary caregivers/parents.
Number of Beneficiaries
40 participants, including children and parents, received intensive oral health education and preventive counselling.
