Dental check-ups
On 11 March 2026, the Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai, conducted an intensive Oral Health Screening and Education Camp at the Ekta Nagar Slums in Mankhurd West. This outreach is a vital pillar of the World Oral Health Day 2026 campaign, moving forward with the global mission: “A Happy Mouth is… A Happy Life.”
Target Population
A high-priority demographic including children, general residents, and high-risk individuals (tobacco and betel nut users) within the urban slum cluster.
