Dental check-ups
The Department of Public Health Dentistry, Government Dental College & Hospital, Mumbai, organized a comprehensive Oral Health Education and Screening Camp on 12 January 2026 at the ICDS Anganwadi cluster (Centers 181–197), Bhandup West. This initiative was conducted in alignment with the World Oral Health Day 2026 global campaign, celebrating the theme: “A Happy Mouth is… A Happy Life.”
Target Population
Preschool-aged children and caregivers from the ICDS Anganwadi centers at Kaji Takdi, Janta Market.
Number of Beneficiaries
92 young children were systematically screened and provided with age-appropriate oral health education.
