SIBAR INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES,DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH DENTISTRY ORAL HEALTH AWARENESS WALK

On the eve of “WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY 2023”, themed “BE PROUD OF YOUR MOUTH” we the Department of Public health dentistry from SBAR INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES organized a oral health awareness walk on 14-03-2023, to sensitize the general public about the importance of Oral health care. The Staff along with Post graduates, Interns and Final years covered routes in Namburu (rural) holding banners, placards with slogans written on them. During the rally, students distributed flyers which emphasized on prevention of oral diseases and maintaining good oral care. Students interacted with localities regarding their reasons for neglecting oral health conditions and utilization of dental services.  It was a successful event which helped in raising the awareness among public.
