Dental and gum diseases are the most common health problem in our country as well as in the world today. These diseases are not cared enough by the society, because they are thought to be not a direct threat to life although they are a part of general health. However, these diseases are considered to be a serious public health problem due to their high incidence, causing other systemic diseases, requiring too much money, time, and expertise for their treatment. We believe there are many things we can do for our common future and health. In order to provide scientific and technical support to strategies aimed at developing and maintaining protective oral and dental health services at our dental faculty, we aimed to organize an event in the context of World Oral Health Day. In this event, which will be held on March 20, 2019, - Oral and dental health awareness panel, - Dental examination of the participants, - Distribution of toothbrushes, toothpastes, posters and brochures, will be performed.
